Quick Overview:
The head of this tool is made from 1/4″ thick hardened steel from reclaimed agricultural disc blades. It is then glued and riveted to our 40″ curved hickory handle for added stability. The 7″ wide by 9″ high blade has a curved sharpened bottom edge and sharpened sides. This tool is excellent for fire line and trail building use and is a favorite of many Hotshot firefighting crews across the country.
